Do Polyester Sheets Pill
Polyester sheets tend to pill. The “pill” is a surface defect made up of a small ball of fibers, and it starts to form when fibers rub against themselves or another surface.
With proper care, you can prevent pilling on polyester sheets.
It is recommended to wash sheets in a short wash cycle and use gentle liquid detergent, prevent pilling.
Do not use hot temperature when washing and drying, for this can weaken the fibers. Do not use brighteners or bleach as this can weaken the material.
It is recommended to add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle as this will help prevent future pilling.
