How to Keep Bed Sheets In Place
Here are 4 ways to keep sheets from sliding off the bed.
Sheet straps, long elastic bands with clips on the ends, are available in different sizes and fit between the mattress and box spring with the clips sticking out, gripping the sheets in the desired location. Place straps horizontally across a bed near the bottom to keep a top or flat sheet in place. Or, place straps in an “X” fashion diagonally beneath the entire mattress to hold a fitted sheet in place.
Bedding clips are able to hold a silk sheet in place near the foot of the bed, allowing room to slide in and out of bed without the sheet slinking its way onto the floor. Clips have a horizontal portion that fits between the mattress and box spring. And, clips have the vertical portion that grasps the sheet, keeping it on the bed.
Tie knot at the end of flat sheet and tuck it into the fitted sheet.
4. Flannel sheets.
Cover mattress with the flannel sheet, and nicely tucked on each side of the mattress. Then, make bed as usual. The texture of the flannel creates a barrier between the slippery fabric of the mattress and the sheets.
