Why Do Bed Sheets Go Bobbly

Sheets can bobble due to a surface defect that’s made up of small fibers. Sheets will go bobbly after long time usage and repeated washing. Sheets, made of cotton, wool, nylon, polyester and acrylic, have a tendency to bobby. Sheets, made of synthetic fibers, are at an increased risk of bobbling as the strong fibers can keep a firm hold of the pills.
